Im watching a tutorial the unreal engine... But there is Unity as well ofcourse...
I'm completely new at the idea if game development...
Basically I just want to make a 3d sandbox where I can put dolmens in and things like stonehenge, but also things like platonic solids... and play with night and day / solar and lunar positions lol...
So a sky like in stellarium xD - a real sky, with real lighting...
To for example have a dolmen on the grid with lat. and long. and check equinoxes, solstices & lunar standstills in real time from a 3d first or third person perspective - where I can walk arround it lol.... and zoom out to aerial view to see how the different local dolmens connect xD... and what their astronomical connection is 🤣🤘
So... lol in which one would it be easiest to build 3d structures in a grid & apply some textures?
so I want a real equatorial grid lol... a real night sky - so lattitude and longitudes would correspond with the actual sky xD
Stellarium 3D sandbox creative mode basically 😆
Unity or Unreal? or something completely different?
and ohyeah - I also want to be able to draw euclidean geometry on the ground lol... ruler, compass, and a rope where i can add and remove knots 👌
Thank you ☺️☕
and I dont like the blockiness... but you're right... it might be much easier to just find an existing sandbox that allows that - instead of trying to create my own 🤔
thank you!
